Emilie van Rappard

Emilie van Rappard (1971) has held various positions at KLM since 1995. She was Head of Internal Communication for KLM-Alitalia, set up KLM’s Customer Management Department and as Director Customer Communications, she was responsible for all KLM’s commercial communications across the globe. In 2004, she founded ismu, a communication management consultancy which operates in the areas of strategy and structure, organisation and communication. With a strong business rationale approach, Emilie van Rappard seeks out how to put emotional motives to effective use. She advises and supports commercial companies such as Schiphol, Tomtom and Fortis Intertrust, but is also involved pro bono in various non-profit organisations, such as Net4kids Aid Foundation.
